It is tragic that after these many, the Civil Rights Movement, the Gay rights and the over welling election of a Black president Republicans can not free themselves from the notion that they cannot established their party on, a disrespect for non-whites! Their ream has passed and reality should have settled by now that to get respect, that respect must be given to others without prejudice.

Because they are able to hobble together a few Blacks who claim they stand for Republicans principles that does not mean that they have any sizable number of Blacks who do in fact, believe what Republicans stand for and will vote for the. And Republicans knowing that do not actually vie for Black votes. Because of this fact, Republicans take a certain pride in being the White People's party. That allows them to say and do racial things and behave adversely against Blacks and other non-whites. That type of behavior is an appeal to bigot-t-leaning whites. However the bigoted-leaning whites are , no longer comprising the majority they once did.

The Oprah Effect has been more profound than whites ever realized; the years Oprah has been in their homes, socializing their wives and their children have transformed many whites into seeing that her black face as the face of us all and no longer can bigoted whites call upon their past prejudice to marshal their whiteness to beat the heathen Blacks away from polls and voting booths. Blacks such as General Powell and the millions of Black soldiers, police persons, and firemen have also driven out the "bad men" from their minds. Finally Americans are beginning to realize that the profile of the "bad man" is a white male and that the profile of the food stamp recipient looks more like themselves than the supposed teeming horde of Blacks and Browns beating at their doors to rape their daughters and wives!/

This truth is not the Tebowe effect but the ;Oprah Effect they must now realize!

If the Republicans are to become a credible political party today, they must come to grips with the Oprah Effect; and tie up or train their dogs they have set loose on non-whites. Their dogs are actually killing them. The Blacks, Browns, and non-whites are in the White House and will not allow their entry unless the change their ways!
