They Fight Us As If They Don't Want Freedom

Americans are in a foreign land. They are fighting because when the time came they had to perform the duties they were trained to do. The time came and now they are over in Afghanistan, Iraq and fighting to defend the freedom of their country, or are they there to defend the freedom of those who are fighting us harder than they ever fought against Sadaam Hussein? They fight us as if they don't want freedom!

Iraq deserves to have democracy. But who deemed the US God over who should live a certain way and how others should conduct themselves in their countries and what they should have and sell? It's crazy that so many people bit into the perfect opportunity for the opportunist. Now, we are witnessing the consequences of being opportunists.

Beheading is death in ancient ways. The US is fighting a people that has been fighting for centuries; fighting each other over religious beliefs as who are Christians and who are Muslims. I mean it isn't as simple as it sounds but warning signs have to tell you if they cared less about the tariffs and restrictions made against their country to the point that children live in poverty and some are addicted to heroin; then came the rebels and the followers of the dictator.

What business is that of ours? The USA leads the world in incarcerations. We have towns and cities where the homeless population is at an increasing high; there are people losing their jobs because of this war and worst, they are losing their lives and families are being destroyed as a result of the antique ways of handling disputes, through war.

It's old and it's ancient and should have no place in our psyches today in this so-called technological and modern age. The old boys in the White House couldn't wait to play with their toys created during the Reagan Era. They wanted to play war games because the mentality of solving dispute means war and that equates money.

In other words, the Bush Administration officials' children aren't serving in any war, male or female. And you still don't get it. No matter if you believe Bush was defending his father or the US wanted the oil, and some believes the heroin too, you can best believe that they are eating well and losing no sleep over the American people.

Strength isn't always shown through physical force. Why are they fighting the US so hard, harder than they were willing to even think about fighting Sadaam, and we have all the weapons any country could ever dream of yet they are not afraid?

I don't know about you, but something is wrong with this picture. All the sympathy in the world will not stop this war. This war will not be over any time soon. You can stay pumped up over false pride, but we will all meet our maker one day and the answer will be given and then it will be too late. You played a part in this by not exercising your rights as a voter, period!

If you weren't allowed to vote, you would be crying about that. People, you have the right to have your views and I may not be right to you, but all I ask is that you use common sense. Why are they fighting us so hard if they wanted their freedom so badly? []
