Real Jihad

The American media have been misinforming the American public the last two years. The American press and American government mis-labeled the term JIHAD. The American media describes JIHAD as an aggressive, belligerent, and fanatical attitude by people of the Islamic faith who are willing to die for their country and Allah (God). This statement could be true with radical Mullahs (Islamic preachers) and Islamic militants but most loving and honorable Moslems are not this way. The American government has to vilify this new enemy to justify war. This process is occurring in the United States. The propaganda war started right after the first Middle East conflict. Saddam became the new evil villain, thus cemented the current American cause. We condemned the treatment of the Iraqi people by The Saddam Regime, yet we are doing the same thing in the United States with African American and Native American males. Should we not get our house in order before we start pointing fingers at another country? The American media and the current American Government want you to believe that this is "A Holy War". President Bush first named this new attack "the Crusades". This insensitive act so infuriated the whole Moslem world. It created so much turmoil that the President had to change the name. These events caused many in the Islamic world to publicly voice opposition to President Bush's choice of words and America's military actions. These act alone shows the lack of consciousness by the President. Let's tell the truth! The stage is set for war, this is a war of economics, not of faith or religion, it is a war for (BLACK GOLD) oil, a war for domination in the Middle East by the Western powers. A smoke screen, which hides the fact, that some western powers want to re-colonize the Middle East. This is the real JIHAD.

Who has been the aggressor nation since Sept 11? What two counties have ignored the voice of the people around the world? What two counties have ignored the public? Both the United States and Iraq have turn up their noises at world peace. Both countries have been told to cooperate with the United Nations, both appear to have their own agendas. If, or when the United States begins the Battle with Iraq they will stand almost alone. At this current date only Mother England and Spain will be by their side from (NATO) North Atlantic Treaty Organization, plus Kuwait and the Saudis in the Middle East. Prime Minister Tony Blair will lose his majority when his country votes this summer and England will have a new government. The current government of Spain is also in a sinking boat and will be changed before summer. Pakistan and India are having trouble with their Moslem citizens and could force a vote when the bombs fall on Baghdad this spring. Afghanistan is still unstable and will be that way for years to come. Will Iran, Syria, and Libya be next? Where or when does this end? Do the Western powers really want all of these changes in that short of time? So who is left standing alone the United States of America? Are we prepared for these changes?

President Bush has declared a JIHAD on Iraq just by its own definition: one own personal existence against his moral failing, pride, fear, anxiety, and prejudice. President Bush wants Saddam out of Iraq, no matter what the cost. What does this say about the political power of the United Nations? What does is say about the legitimate role of North Atlantic Treaty Organization? These governing bodies will become null and void of any political legitimacy. Once the United States moves it's armies across the Iraqi soil the UN and NATO will have little political power from that point on. It will be 1936 all over again, with Allies and Axis powers beating each other to death. Big dog eating little dog, might makes right, the most powerful ruling over the weak and poor. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and the United States at this current point in history is the most powerful nation in the world. So what is a real JIHAD?

Here are some of the answers: 1) The goal of Islam is to attainment of peace but this peace can only be experienced through that exertion (JIHAD) and the use of force, which begins with the disciplining of one self and leads to living in the world in accordance with the dicta of the shar ta. Meaning with the words of the Quran the use of force can only be condoned in the sense of undoing the violation of the individual own nature and the chaos, which has resulted from the loss of equilibrium. 2) JIHAD, The literal translation means, "to struggle to expend energy" to be the best at whatever you are doing. Islam is against all violence but when unjustly attack the Islamic State will fight back. Force will be used in moderation. This does not mean destroying innocent people in the case of the World Trade Center Attacks. The attack on the World Trade Center in 2001 put the Islamic world in chaos. The September 11, attack has caused the world to face the possibility of war any day now. Proclaimed leaders of the Islamic faith have hijacked the Moslem community. The Taliban, Osama bin Laden, and Saddam Hussein have made it difficult for the Moslem world. These Mullahs and Militants have been imposing their will on other Islamic Countries. Likewise, American is now imposing its will on the world for war with Iraq. These Mullahs and Militants have their own interpretations of the Quran and have gathered many followers. Just like in the United States with its Christian right wing Moral Majority. Neither group wants to conform to any other way. Both groups are blinded by their devoted faith. They both see the Quran and the Bible as the guide but both mis read its true religious teachings.

Neither group want the masses to march into the future with modern technologies because they know, "knowledge is power"- so you keep the masses away from the information highway. This is to preserve the political power of both groups. Yet both group leaders use the same technology to transmit information. In reality, both group's are in conflict with the real world.

The new JIHAD (STRUGGLE) should be about 1) New economic development. 2) The modernization of the Islamic State. 3) The creation of a new civilian society with civilian elected officials. 4) The complete liberation of Islamic women and children. The radical Mullahs and Militants are not interested in this new modern Islamic State because it would cut into their power base and then they would not have the masses to carry out their political will. When this happens radical Mullahs and armed Islamic militants lose control of the masses.

Like wise the Western powers are going to have to let this process develop in the Middle East. The Western powers are going to have to step back and not force the issue of an Islamic democratic state. Thus the world would not have to deal with the rebellious, defensive, Moslem attitude that is prevalent in the world today.
