Dating Disabled
men: A Dog is a Dog!
Seriously though, I have in-fact dated a man that was confined to a wheelchair and let me tell you ladies and gentlemen out there, do not let the disability fool you. He was one of the biggest dogs I have ever gone out with. I mean, he put the OG in dog; he used the wheelchair thing to obtain sympathy from unsuspecting sisters and proceeded to manipulate and play with their hearts and minds. When I hooked up with him after being introduced to him by a mutual friend, I didn't even trip off the wheelchair. I treated him like any other dude. I gave him a little lead way because I guess deep down within, I kind of felt sorry for him, which is very hard for me to admit because I shouldn't have felt sorry for him, but I think it is natural to feel a little guilty because you don't have to deal with the same limitations that he does. That quickly changed when I realized after seeing him for a month that he was not only dating me but that he was also dating almost the entire female population in the City of Oakland. Needless to say, I kicked his ass to the curb and at that point it didn't matter whether he was disabled or able-bodied because he was a DOG! So although that rap about how sweet and kind disabled people are may fly with some. In my experience Dogs come in all shapes and sizes as well as disabled. I'm not trying to say that there aren't any good-natured disabled men because there are just like there are good-natured able-bodied men. However, I must forewarn any man or woman that is jumping into a relationship with someone disabled because they believe it want be dramatic like a relationship with an able-bodied person. Do not let the disability fool you a man is generally a man no matter how you package him the same goes for women. So be prepared for the same drag and stupid games and don't let your guard down because you believe that this person won't cheat on you because he or she will. Stay Safe []
