Self Aware
-A Poem-

Our seeds in the womb grow our bodies with care. They choose who we are and try to be fair! Sets come from our Mom, and some from our Dad. Born into this world we are both happy and sad.

Our conscious surroundings and our unconscious, both, form what we choose as our new stage of growth. Life's foundation depends on what we observe, and we do. Those things that we choose form what we grow and renew.

Our biological form is the form that we see
No matter how far our "Me" is from "We"
Our inner world is precious. Our outer world is strong.

Balancing this pressure, develops life's song.
Those first years of life need parental wise knowledge. To guide how we think, we feel, and we forage. Many around us may tempt us to stray Lest inner foundation and power hold sway.

We're always observing and choosing our path. Some give us pleasure, but some give us wrath! In the final analysis we're still what we choose. Changes are important to win or to lose.

Our deep body energy in the core of our soul
Sends feelings beyond us that help us grow old.
Education is crucial to manage our choices
Whether learned from home, or in schools of trained voices.

We create ourselves, believe it or not! Then share what we know. We're ail Society's got! We can blame all the others, or hide in our shell. Or we can master life's lessons and live really well.

Society needs role models who have experienced their song
and changed what was hurtful, for what was helpful so long.
