And Now it's Kissing

It used to be that a kiss was just a kiss, and a sigh was just a sigh. But now more fundamental things apply as time has gone by.

Now we are told that it may be terminal. Luke Montagnier, who discovered the Human Immuno-Deficiency Virus (HIV), has warned of a possibility of getting the virus through kissing, the New Vision Daily reported Wednesday.

Montagnier said that the deeper the kiss, the higher the risk of catching HIV. Saliva could carry HIV and injuries in the mouth facilitate the transmission of the virus through saliva, he said. "The risk of saliva transmission is very low, but we cannot eliminate it completely," he said. "One has to be cautious about deep kissing even if saliva has some protective effects. But sexual transmission is the most important."
