It is not enough that the Republicans under Bush, Reagan, and other Republicans have almost destroyed this nation by their tax giveaways to the rich, their needless wars, and their incompetent administration of this nation, now the Republicans, masquerading as Tea party advocates are trying to throw this nation into absolute confusion. Although the Republicans almost put this nation on the brink of a depression. Fortunately, the nation elected a solid thinking person in Barack Obama to bring this nation back from that death dive.
Now as this nation has come back from the brink of destruction and is starting to grow, albeit slowly, the same Republicans now masquerading as Tea party advocates are trying again to do everything within their power to literally harm the nation.
England has a system of government in which they let some members who are in the majority govern the country, and he out of power minority party stays on as the loyal opposition minority party vocating for their minority party's interests. They are kept in that the nation remain a whole and that opposition not attempt to destroy the unity of the nation. They do not however, try to destroy the nation simply because they are no longer in political power. Their minority status is recognized as a minority but they are usually considered as the loyal minority. Their position is the position in the service of the whole nation not merely a position that will weaken the nation. They are, as they say"the loyal minority."
Republicans are quite different from those who are the minority in England. American Republicans, especially now that Barack Obama is the president, have become as ruthless as many third world dictators when they re thrown out of power. Republicans have no sense of decency, no sense of fair play, no sense of national loyalty, they only have one goal: to get back into power at all costs. If the nation is harmed, then the nation is harmed until theu get back into power.
This nation is suffering from fragmentation of loyalties. When George W. Bush clearly lost a fair election, the Republicans were unwilling to concede, Al Gore took a backseat instead and allowed George W. Bush to be president again. When Al Gore refused to challenge George Bush as the elected president, that action may have set off a chain reaction that is spiraling out of control even today. It was a noble response to a flawed election, for Al Gore to concede, but the seeds of that flawed process resonates today.
Republicans are as ruthless as any Third World dictators when they lose elections. (1) In an effort to win back the White House the Republicans have bifurcated themselves by renaming themselves Tea party advocates because Republicans are now s spent brand that conjures up bas images. So they cannot honestly run an election with their heads high.
The Tea party group is in fact Republicans without a doubt and not only are they Republicans but they are the mist Virulent breed of Republicans who will do anything or say anything to win, even if they have to throw this nation into totalconfusion. That is not what Patriotic or loyal Americans would do.(2) Of course there is the air of racism that is taken exhaled with every breath they take. Barack Obama is the firsts African-American who is president of the United States. That truth infuriates many Americans, as one yellow white Americans said," I just don't want a black as my president!" And he even though Republicans have not by and large said that, listen to the radio talk shows with the Savage nation, the Rush Limbaugh's and all of the of the hate advocates lining up to belittle and disparage Obama in every way they can conjure up.
Rush Limbaugh and his group of "advocates of hate "have openly said," I hope and I want Obama to fail!" These are not people who love the nation or respect the nation, these are individuals who are soul hellbent and full of hatred because a black man has mastered the political system to become president of the United States of America. Where are the loyal opposition now? They have lost their loyalties for the nation as they have put on their white robes ag. They are willing to destroy the nation rather than seeing this nation revive itself under Presidents Barack Obama.
Now at this particular cross roads again, they are flaming the hate fires and are ready inflating this nation in disaster with no understanding of the consequences of their actions. The Republicans had given the rich more riches than they could ever have or should have, while the poor are dying in debt.
There is only one hope for this nation as it is presently is constituted, the Republicans/tea party ideologues are removed from their ability to harm the nation, and they are Unmasked for who and what they are-- madmen and women who have no sense of loyalty to the nation!
The idea that you win at all costs seems to be the model that the Republicans and their"tea party"constituents have decided on. Maybe this is the legacy of Al Gore having conceded a very contested presidency to George Bush. Ehen he conceded, George Bush engaged in a reckless presidency of expenditures, lack of regulations, needless wars, and Texas swagger.
There are times when good men must stand and fight to the death! Gore played to be a noble man part my conceiving, but he conceded to to ignoble men. Now that party, the Republican/tea party advocates have gone wild and are attempting to throw the nation in chaos and total disrepute worldwide. They have no sense of the loyal opposition, no sense of loyalty to the nation, just supply of the Republicans, voice by Sarah Plain, "I just want Barack Obama to be a one term president!" And that whole is the only chant that the Republicans make. That is their platform for the Republican Party. How tragic they are.
In their hatred of Obama they have such neophytes saying such things as,"Obama is the worst president we've ever had." And they will will not look the persons who got us us into the mess that we're in today. Neophytes like Donald Trump don't have enough insight in political matters, beyond game shows hosting. Yet he would raise his voice? Donald Trump and of the neophytes can not be taken seriously.
Incompetent Republicans have instantly offered their flawed judgments. This is not new, it's the old game with new disguises. They hope, as Rush Limbaugh has said," I hope he fails!" And they don't realize they're wanting this nation to fail.
Contrary to the dream's and imaginations of Republicans, Obama will not fail and he will not be a t be a one term president. The American people will see through the naysayers and hate mongers, and re-elect Barack Obama again to complete the work that he has begun.
