The Jay-Z Video

Last week Gibbs Magazine published a video that showed Rap Star Jay-Z hitting a female who had taken a picture of him. The female readers of Gibbs who sent this tape to us were outraged with Jay Z, Beyonce's boyfriend. So we passed it on without any knowledge of the circumstances under which this incident occurred, which is not to say that circumstances would or could justify such behavior unless this was a friendly or mock altercation.

However, although we have over a half million readers a month, we received no feedback about this matter. The question that I ask is Why? Why weren't there readers who were concerned about Jay-Z's seemingly violent behavior? Was it because these readers know something Gibbs is unaware of about this incident? Was it because this incident was really not a serious action? Or could it be that such behavior is so common that it no longer is news worthy?

It is hard to say whether this seemingly news worthy incident was real or whether it was Jay-Z's jesting with an old friend. It certainly has not shown up on other news media. Why?

We are still wondering about this story and a failure of reader feedback.
