The Consequences of War

What is happening with the people of America? It appears to me that people are steadily fighting a losing battle with the government, the elite 1 per centers, and fake politicians. The threat of war is having an effect on us now; imagine what will happen when it takes place. We all will suffer the consequences. The President is being supported toward war and putting our citizens in harms way. The consequences are so great that we will face struggles close to those during the Great Depression. There will be Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Antisocial Disorders, Schizophrenia, substance abuse, and other mental disorders. Some of the results will be homicides, suicides, and those who will die in battle. There will be single parents to the highest forms. There will be longer soup lines. There will be higher unemployment and underemployed. There will be higher rates of crimes. There will be more children subjected to molestation, neglect, abandonment, and other forms of abuse. There will be more children sent to foster homes and detention centers. There will be more adolescents sent to juvenile. There will be more adolescents resorting to crime. What will a war bring? It will not bring the peace that we are being brainwashed to believe. The consequences are so great, that it cannot be justified. These words have nothing to do with being unpatriotic. This is common sense. Take a real look at what's going on today. Budget cuts for example, will affect every citizen one way or another. The winners from the budget cuts are the defense (military) and the rich. The losers are seniors, which in California will lose out on their brown bag lunch; seniors who live off social security, living in cities where rent is sky high, and their health isn't the best, and whose lives are lonely; seniors who look forward to coming to community centers and congregate while eating lunch. Adult health care centers will take massive cuts. Some of these centers will have to lay off staff, and in most cases become a skeleton center. Seniors will be affected gravely by the budget cuts, while America prepares for war. Children will be affected as well. Schools will be taking cuts; after school programs will be hit hard. Bush had already made cuts of funding that went toward child welfare when he first came into office. Public schools and colleges will be affected real hard, so much for education. Schools will look even less tempting for African Americans, who have few in college. A lot of people are about to lose their jobs and it's sad because, here we are, the United States, the most powerful country in the world, and the few people in power have control to decide who lives, who dies, and who suffers. In most cases, the seniors, the children, and the poor suffers the most. We have soup and food lines that are getting longer and longer in the United States. We have homelessness increasing, substance abusers increasing, and incarcerated men and women rising in rates-lower in ages. We, the US, have gone from a surplus to a deficit, and depression is around the corner. These are the consequences of war. How is it people are so blind that these things are even allowed to happen?
Greed, not defense. The people of America are simply sleep walking
or living in fantasies &did someone say Joe Millionaire? []
