These are Gibbs's major writers.
 
Carolyn Stokes, BA, MS
writes the column, The Stokes Report. She appears on local talk shows, she is an educator, a mentor; she has successfully raised children to adulthood.
Frank Thomas Williams
is a student at SF State University. He is a trained drug counselor, working with young people who are having problems with drugs and adjustment. He is completing his degree in Social Work.

Sifelani Tsiko
was born on 27 June 1972 in Murehwa, a rural district 85km east of the capital Harare. He writes for the Herald, the national daily. He graduated with a BA in Media Studies from the Zimbabwe Open University in 2005.


Tony Jackson, Ph.D.
is a contributing editor to Gibbs. He is a Psychology Professor at a local community college. He writes on issues of a psychological interest
Gary Norris Gray, BA
is a disbled person who is a disability advocate. He is a history major and a keen social observer. He lloves sports and is a profilic writer and poet. He writes The Gray Line.

Simond Griote

was raised in San Francisco as the only child. He went to SF Bay Area schools and worked for PG&E for many years. He writes poetry, essays, and has just completed a novel--Sore In The Soul--published by Mirror-Gibbs

Jessie Landers
is a Broadcast-Journalism major at a local college. She writes about family matters in the column called, Family Matters. She is the proud mother of twin sons.

Susan Robinson
is a student atUC Berkeley in the Spring of 2002. Her major is English. She is a writer, interviewer, and editor for Gibbs and Mirror-Gibbs Publications; she
writes the column, A Day in Black History,


Just A Guy

A young Black professional who works in the San Francisco Financial District. His views are strong and he desires to write with anonymity.


Dianna Miller

A student at Mills College in Oakland, she is an intern and volunteer who writes, does research on various articles, and helps Gibbs and Mirror-Gibbs Publications function smoothly
