There is a clear and distinct difference between the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration. One stands for world peace and understanding the other stands for war and world confrontation. One that understands human suffering and the other creates human suffering. One stands for nation building the other dismantles nations America is on the road to political, social, and economic disaster with these insensitive foreign polices. In November 2006, America has a choice to stay the course or change. The Clinton Administration Middle East Policies Includes:
Peace in the Middle East: - -Positive Negotiations between Yassar Arafat and his Fatah Party with the State of Israel. - United Nation’s Military blockade of Iraq to block Saddam Hussein’s military advances. - Containing and negotiating with other Islamic Radical elements in the Middle East. - Attempts at peaceful negotiations with Radical Islamic military groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hizbollah. - This Administration knew where al Qeada agents where (Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan) - Continued friendly talks with so called rogue Islamic States of Syria, Lebanon, and Iran. Thus keeping the door open for communication. - The Continued creation and expansion of moderate Islamic States (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait) willing to work with the Western World (United States and United Kingdom) for peace. - The Clinton Administration could not stop the first World Trade Center attack in 1998 and the sequential attacks on American Embassy’s in Africa with the attack on the USS Coal. - President Clinton’s other foreign policy failures, quell the rebellions in Somalia, Sudan, and Chad. China: - tried to negotiate a balance trade agreement with Beijing Korea: - Created talks between North and South Korea. Families of the North could visit families of the South. The start of the Sunshine Talks between the two governments for the first time in 48 years residents of the north could speak to anyone in the south. The Clinton Administration had eight years of American peace. This administration tried to understand other political viewpoints and work with other foreign nations not friendly to the United States. The Bush Administration Middle East Policies Includes:Confrontation in the Middle East: - -Ceased negotiations with Chairman Arafat and Palestine in 2000-2002, created confrontations between Palestine and Israel. Suicide bombings in Israel resumed. -Ended the three-year United Nations blockade of Iraq 2001. Saddam Hussein increased his border armies and threaten United Nations inspectors. Iraq finally dismisses the United Nations inspectors. -Created the new fracture of the moderate Islamic States, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Egypt drifted away from United States Middle East Policies -The execution of Saudi Nationals Attacking New York, Washington, D.C., and Penna., Sept 11, 2001 killing over three thousand Americans and other foreign nationals -The retaliation of American forces one year later in Afghanistan 2002 to rid Kabul of Teliban Forces. -The invasion of Iraq in March 2003 with limited coalition forces. Promotes al Qaeda as a international terrorist group, al Qaeda responds with bombings in England, Philippines, Bali, Thailand, and Spain in 2002-2006. Refused to negotiate with leaders of Al Qaeda, Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, and Hizbollah closing the door to peace talks. The Bush Administrations requested new elections in Palestine creating the election of Hamas as Palestinian leadership in 2005. An event the Bush Administration did not foresee. July and August 2006,Giving the State of Israel a free reign to defend itself with military force against Hizbollah. Example the current extended invasion of Israeli forces into Southern Lebanon. Sending a mixed message to other Arab States in the region and possible a back door strategy of an American lead attack on the Islamic State of Iran. China: - cut off all trade negations with Beijing creating tension between two world powers, and a huge trade unbalance in the United States. Korea: - Ending the Sunshine Talks and closing the boarders. Naming North Korea as another member of the Axis of Evil. North Korea fires missiles and re-start their nuclear programs creating tension on the Korean peninsula Iran: - Naming Iran as the third member of the Axis of Evil in his 2004 State of the Union speech. Iran re-starts its nuclear program inspite of the Western Worlds protest creating additional tensions in the region. This is the new target of the Bush Administration in 2006-2007. The separation of old allies from the United States. France, Germany, and Italy are not agreeing with Washington’s Middle East Policies. This administration has created world tension instead of world peace. The Bush Administration has only one year of American Peace and unwillingness to negotiate with other nations or organizations, has cost many American and foreign lives. The Gray Line
