BREAK THE CONDITIONING

I'm fired up. That's right, I'm fired up. I'm fired up because of the conditioning of my people and the American people. I'm fired up because of the social ills, high rates of incarcerations, the vices that created and caused the condition, and the lack of love for freedom.

There are millions of Americans who haven't got a clue of the bigger picture because they have been conditioned to submit to the pity pot and are stuck in the victimization stage. Yes, the victimization stage with feelings of hopelessness, despair, low self-esteem, anxieties, depressions, irrational thinking and self-defeating ideations. There are millions of people that fit these descriptions and there are some who are the intellectuals, the ones who uses blame as a weapon and reasons for being stuck in the conditions that they are in.

Trapped! That's right, trapped in a vicious cycle of excuses combined with the thoughts that they are owed something. No dreams or aspirations of overcoming the obstacles, nor have they been taught how to. I am not saying that they enjoy it, but the conditioning became apart of the norm and when one steps outside the box, the world is wrong and they don't understand it.

Next, the person is caught up in the immediate environment, the risk factors are high and their sibling's futures are almost inevitable; if they follow in the same footsteps of those that they are immolating. The cycle continues.

Malcolm X once explained that the reason we were in the condition we were in was because of slavery and the slave mentality, using the example of the field Negro and the house Negro. The field Negro wanted his/her freedom and couldn't stand the slave master, while the house Negro loved his master and when the master didn't feel good the house Negro didn't feel good. The facts are today are that we have advanced since the 1960's and what once was pride and unity is now just a distorted view of the past because many do not know their history; therefore, due to circumstances (i.e., plans and plots to separate us to divide and conquer are unfortunately working) and lack of knowledge, our ignorance is prevalent and leading our people back into bondage-legally this time.

Millions of our people and the American people are conforming to irrational thinking due to mixed messages from the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of society.

Some Americans ranging from ages 21 to 33 are lost due to mixed message from their eras. During their developmental stages of growth, the 70's, 80's and 90's, idealism was distorted and the changes in beliefs by their parents and/or guardians and role models became faulty due to the macro levels of society, such as governmental laws and the creation and eliminations of programs. Laws were implemented to patronize, pacify, quiet down and phase out pride and unity.

Leaders were silenced. Different groups were disbanded and their leaders became political prisoners. Welfare, education and food programs were designed to pacify the uprising against fighting and standing up against the social ills. Subliminal messages from the media were sent to glorify crimes while the privilege Americans were training their children to run the factories, business and to run the nation.

Those caught up in ethnocentrism were happy to see someone who looked like themselves on television and the motion pictures. Some bought into what they saw through the media eyes, like "Superfly."

Messages sent to use drugs to escape and sell drugs to overcome obstacles were received, glorified and immolated in masses. The seed was planted years ago, and thousands bought into it, and look at the results of it today (i.e., over 466,000 people ages ranging from 21-29 are incarcerated and are African American). The flashy clothes, jewelry, foxy women, drugs, alcohol, and money are sending messages of how to overcome your social woes on a mezzo level.

Then came the 80's. While Americans were being entertained by Prince, Michael Jackson, The Foreigners, Air Supply, Lionel Richie, Bill Cosby, etc., on the Macro level, the Regan Administration were trading arms for drugs. The CIA was flushing the urban areas with the rich man's high-cocaine and the hustlers high-heroin.

The television showed, Miami Vice, set up what would become the co-conspirator to sending us back to slavery, stagnating our development and destroying our values for life, and aspirations of the American Dream. An episode aired on this popular television show about "Crack," a synthetic drugs that was ten-times stronger than cocaine which caused brain hemorrhaging, yet, gave a person a higher and longer lasting high than cocaine. Quickly, this new drug, cheaper drug hit the streets along with firearms steadily throughout the United States.

Unemployment was high and a new technological era was coming into view by the Reagan (Star Wars) Administration. Too many poor people had become middle class citizens thanks to corporations such as Del Monte, Levi Strauss and Ford Motor Company. The plan was developed to move big businesses to third world countries, reduce pay to them, save on taxes and pacify the unemployed Americans losses with the uprising of convenient liquor stores on every block of low socio-economic neighborhoods, and flood these areas with drugs.

Create the War on Drug scenario; add racial profiling, and legislation to support the laws. Build more jails and prison, especially private prisons (which are now multi-billion dollar industries since the 80's) so that they can invest in the private industries and continue to make money off your misery since your labor is no longer needed.

In the 1990's, these communities got out of hand. Education was sold out for fast money in some areas and many cultures were not ready for the technological era, especially African Americans and Latino's or Spanish Americans (Spanish Americans are the fastest growing culture in the United States today). The thoughts of becoming married, having children and a house was no longer a dream, no longer apart of the norm. The media made a big thing out of both single parenting and deadbeat dads. Changes manufactured by mainstream America elite. The norms and mores quickly became individualistic to name one characteristic of the existing paradigm. This would support what was to come: the separation of family and community, and use the unemployed male father as the scapegoat whereas the theme was promoted so that these types of men were viewed as deviants. When, in fact, the macro-level created the situation through massive unemployment, drugs, elimination of programs, and the lack of resources, while restructuring belief systems (thanks to the use of the media and mainstream).

A new world evolved and pride was misplaced. Irrational dysfunctional households were created and its lifestyle was also promoted. While the commercials were saying "Just Say NO," there is no secret of the psychological effect of this phrase created to promote drug usages, giving it all the publicity needed without an educational piece to emphasizes the consequences of the usage. Instead, gangs grew and the value of life became meaningless. The meaning of family took a turn and twist in its meaning. Pregnant women from having unprotected sex with men who were having sex with multiples (on drugs) were leaving their babies in dumpsters, emergency rooms, and on the steps of a stranger.

Crack Cocaine was an epidemic and on the Macro level, it was the powerful that created it and distributed it with the master plot to pacify and genocide, creating big businesses in both the burial industry and the prison industry. While David Duke and the colored skinned man name Ward Connelly, backed the proposition to end Affirmative Action, thousands of Americans missed it because they were too busy being incarcerated.

In the new millennium, your votes were not taken seriously and terror used to brainwash you even further. Patriotism was used to test your assimilation, comprehension and understanding. While the remix was being invented, the deficit was being created and war on the poor took on a new height to the point that the US is currently the number one leader in incarceration and wars.

Once again, you bought into it. You bite off the fact that your votes didn't count and now some of you don't vote. Of course you didn't notice the psychological affect of that. So many people, especially of color, are giving up their constitutional right to vote. A right that many of our ancestors died for us to have are looked upon not as a privilege, but as a form of trickery.

Society is hardening and being conditioned to look at those who fell through these traps as outcasts. A full circle is taking place and legal slavery has become big business. You may not see the big picture, but in today's world the truth can be exposed and you still wouldn't believe it. At alarming rates communities of all color are being destroyed.

Vices are used to create and cause the crippling effects of addictions, homelessness, unemployment and incarceration. Pride is no longer a factor and the word unity does not have the strength in its meaning as it once used to have in the days of Malcolm and Martin.

The plots and plans of the powerful one-percenters are readily taking place. It is the duty of caretakers, caregivers, educators, social workers and advocators to assist in stopping the chaos. The powers that be are modeling arrogance and violence as an answer for the use of coping skills. Mixed messages are being sent and throughout the confusions, and in some major cities, the streets are also battle zones.

Victimization is an excuse to commit crimes. Using victimization, the blame game, and anger, just as the US used for this war in Iraq, are the same justifications why we have millions locked up in this society. These are games being played by the powerful, and they send out mixed messages. From the poppy seeds in Afghanistan to the oil in Iraq, the taking is equaled to the drug user who steals to support his personal high.

In today's world, we have hundreds of thousands of our youths incarcerated, hundreds of thousands of our babies in foster homes, hundreds of thousands mothers incarcerated and fathers, not to mention grandparents. Millions of broken homes, and it was not done by chance. I say the plot continues to work, and if we do not wake up to it, we will be doing each other and ourselves an injustice.

We need to wake up and quit sleepwalking. The self-centered role is tearing us apart as a people, as a culture, because it is not in our true nature to be selfish and self-centered. Individualism has never been a characteristic of our culture or history. Why have you adapted it? What used to be the American Dream, idealism of education-employment-home and family, is now the American Nightmare (from single parenting to Pelican-Bay).

I'm fired up! To think that all of our ancestors no matter what your skin color is, fought and died for what little freedom we do have in this country. Stop the conditioning! Freedom is even being taken for granted with lack of our understanding. Get off your pity-pots and out of the victimization stages please, you are participating in the genociding and enslavement of our people and poor people, killing us off. WAKE UP AMERICA! []
