LeRoy developed his love of
airplanes at a very young age. As a little boy he would go with
his dad to watch airplanes taking off and landing. By the time
he was sixteen he was licensed to fly small planes.
LeRoy graduated from the Air Force
academy class of 1987, 31st Squadron. LeRoy served his country
as a captain in the Air Force, flying the C-141 Starlifter, and
was a Veteran of Desert Storm.
LeRoy married Melodie Thorpe on
May 24, 1998 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. From that union,
their daughter Laurel Nicole was born
October 25, 2000.
LeRoy was known for his kind,
caring disposition. He was the type of person that truly
listened when you spoke. He was an exceptional individual with a
wonderful sense of humor.
LeRoy is survived by his wife
Melodie, daughter Laurel, mother Ilse, brother Thomas-Freimark
Sr., sisters Marilyn Johnson, Germaine Wilson, Theresa Cooke-Poche
Ramirez, Cheryl Homer-Wilson, Monique Homer, Christine (Kiki)
Homer and Michelle Homer, as well as his mother and
father-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
