Beyond Our Animalistic Heritage

_________

Have many in our society reverted to our early survival instincts? We fight and compete with each other for control over the weaker among us. We remove more and increasingly more of our clothing to show our bodies. To fill our appetites, we engage in "hook-up sex" rather than healthier safer  propagation of our species. We learn how our fears, anxiety, stress, and guilt through obsessive addictions and expensive drugs instead of learning changed living patterns.

This perception that "all is fair in love and war" has been the downfall of many previous societies.  We then wonder why the subdued layer of society rebels in search of equity and wellbeing.

Can we take the higher evolutionary road and use our hard earned wisdom, love, and generosity to re-balance our society? Can we be the visionaries who honor those who defined a more peaceful, harmonious, mutually beneficial process for living as human beings?

We have a more evolved system that helps us use our natural environment for a more successful life process.  Can we use our wisdom to allow our inner spirit to create more friendly interactive environment in which we interact as human beings beyond animalistic instincts?

This is a choice we need to consider as a younger generation watches and imitates what we practice. We are the teachers, whether we are aware of that fact or not.

What are we passing on? Who are our visionaries? When will we understand?
